Self Learn Capabilities
The self learn feature uses the platform sensors to automatically define each shelf location and shelf spacing. As the platform goes through this function, each of these parameters is recorded into the flash memory. When any shelf location or spacing is changed, the machine can automatically adjust the data table to reflect this new information. This information is stored and is available every time it is powered up, eliminating any safety issues and greatly speeding up the productivity of both the machine and the operator.
Bin Lock:
The assigned supervisor has access to this feature. It allows them to selectively lock out tray
locations for any number of operators. Further, this feature allows the supervisor to lock or unlock all locations at once. This function
is designed to provide both safety and accountability for each operator.
Queue Build
The functionality allows the operator,
in manual retrieval mode, to load a number of orders or picks into the memory of the machine (up to 99 tray locations). When they
are all loaded, the machine automatically sequences the retrieval and storage of each tray so picking may continue uninterrupted.
Product Over-Height Sensor Array
To protect the machine, contents and operator, each machine is equipped with Banner© optical arrays.
The arrays constantly measure the height and width of the tray and contents to be certain the tray will function in the machine and
return to its assigned location. The array has 1/2" resolution over a range of 4" to 26" in product/tray height. Each of the arrays
has input and output capabilities and are equipped with visual indicators on them and on their control boards to show status. Further,
the array may be easy adjusted to accommodate a particular height need.
